THE TRUTH ABOUT SPF IN COSMETICS

THE TRUTH ABOUT SPF IN COSMETICS

March 06, 2017 | 10178 Comments Posted By: Eve Pearl

With all the information about the dangers of sun damage we should be more educated than ever on how to protect ourselves. Many of us think we’re doing all we can, but are we?

According to the American Cancer Society, in the last 40 years skin cancer is on the rise at over 200%. That’s more than breast, prostate, lung and colon cancer combined. Nearly 5 million people are treated for skin cancer each year. The American Cancer Society also advises an SPF15 or greater for protection and to apply it every 2 hours. Apply every 2 hours! Just want to make sure you didn’t miss that.

The Beauty Industry is overflowing with makeup products containing SPF (Sun Protection Factor) …up to 50 and even 70 in the US. SPF is featured in skincare, primers, foundations and powders promising to deliver sunscreen protection. Though, these makeup products have sunscreen ingredients, they do not have the proper amount of coverage or the capabilities to protect against UVA (aging) and UVB (burning) rays.

Most of us would need to reapply that SPF foundation at least 5-10 times a day to get the SPF coverage stated on that packaging. How many times do you apply and reapply your foundation? I apply my foundation and makeup once a day early in the morning…and it lasts all day long (thank goodness).

Do you think this might be creating a false sense of protection? Inadvertently misleading us to believe that those SPF cosmetics are protecting us from the harmful rays, when they are not?

Did you think applying cosmetic products with SPF and seeing the visible signs of makeup meant you were protected? When in reality you were NOT. Simply put, without the capabilities to protect against UVA and UVB rays, sunscreen makeup simply does not live up to the expectations.

It is time we took responsibility for our skin, with knowledge, choices and follow through. If you want to protect your skin from the sun you can apply actual sunscreen. A 30-50 SPF will give you protection up to 96%. Apply and reapply in summer and winter…as needed. There are also things like a hat, sunglasses, clothing and more. Let’s not forget, the most natural way to get vitamin D is by exposing your bare skin to sunlight. As with most things, everything in moderation!

Stay connected; there will be a follow up on how to use your favorite sunscreen in conjunction your favorite foundations and beauty products.

How I Recovered My Bitcoin After a Phishing Scam

I lost over $81,000 worth of Bitcoin to a phishing scam. It started with an email that looked like it came from my wallet provider, warning me about suspicious activity. I clicked the link, logged in, and thought I had secured my wallet. Minutes later, I checked my actual wallet and saw all my Bitcoin had been transferred to a wallet I didn’t recognize. I panicked. My wallet provider said nothing could be done crypto transactions are irreversible.

I felt helpless until I found Astraweb. After reading about their recovery success stories, I reached out to them. Their response was fast, professional, and reassuring. They took on my case and began tracing the stolen Bitcoin using advanced blockchain forensic tools. Within a few days, they discovered the funds had moved through several wallets and were about to be converted on a crypto exchange. Astraweb prepared a detailed report and contacted the exchange’s compliance team. Thanks to their quick action, the exchange froze the wallet. After verifying my identity, the stolen Bitcoin was returned to a new, secure wallet Astraweb helped me set up. I couldn’t believe it my crypto was recovered. Astraweb didn’t just get my funds back they also showed me how to protect myself from future scams with better wallet security.

If you’ve lost crypto to phishing, scams, or hacks, don’t give up hope. Astraweb may be the key to getting it back.

SUPPORT GROUP FOR CRYPTO FRAUD VICTIMS – DIGITAL TECH GUARD RECOVERY

Cryptocurrency has revolutionized finance, drawing both eager investors and cunning scammers. I encountered one such scam through a fraudulent website, Coexus Pro, which epitomized the darker side of this digital landscape. The site promised lucrative daily returns through an “arbitrage trading crypto bot” and cleverly mimicked the branding of a trusted cryptocurrency exchange, fostering a false sense of security. Enticed by the prospect of a consistent 1% daily return, I invested a substantial amount, hoping to capitalize on this seemingly golden opportunity. Initially, the platform performed as promised: returns appeared in my account, and I successfully withdrew funds without issues. This early success bolstered my confidence, convincing me I had made a savvy investment. However, my optimism was short-lived. When I attempted another withdrawal, I was informed that my account balance had fallen below a supposed “liquidity requirement,” necessitating an additional deposit. Trusting their explanation, I complied, believing it was a minor setback. Yet, when I tried to withdraw again, I was met with a new excuse: “blockchain congestion,” which they claimed would delay my funds for 24 days. As days stretched into weeks, my anxiety grew. After 50 days, I contacted their support team, only to face another demand—a 15% fee for “technical support” from a fictitious “Federal Reserve blockchain regulator.” The realization hit me: I had been ensnared by a sophisticated scam. The website soon vanished, replaced by a nearly identical one, continuing the deception. Desperate for answers, I turned to social media and found a review from another victim who had endured a similar ordeal. They praised Digital Tech Guard Recovery for recovering their funds. Inspired, I contacted Digital Tech Guard Recovery, whose cybersecurity expertise offered hope. While awaiting their response, I vowed to stay vigilant to avoid future scams in the volatile crypto world. Ultimately, their efforts paid off, and I recovered my funds, underscoring the value of diligence and seeking professional help in the face of fraud.

I highly recommend the services of the Morphohack Recovery Team for recovering lost or stolen crypto and digital assets. You can contact them via (Morphohack@cyberservices. com).

This team of professional blockchain and cybersecurity experts did an outstanding job helping me recover my crypto assets. I was hacked, and the attackers stole all my Bitcoin and ETH tokens, amounting to a total of $317,000. I believed it was gone for good until a friend, who had previously used Morphohack’s services to recover his own wallet, recommended them to me.
Within 72 hours of contacting them, the Morphohack team successfully recovered and secured my assets. I had my doubts, but they completely exceeded my expectations. If you’re in need of crypto asset recovery, I strongly suggest reaching out to Morphohack. They truly know what they’re doing.
