THE TRUTH ABOUT SPF IN COSMETICS

THE TRUTH ABOUT SPF IN COSMETICS

March 06, 2017 | 10322 Comments Posted By: Eve Pearl

With all the information about the dangers of sun damage we should be more educated than ever on how to protect ourselves. Many of us think we’re doing all we can, but are we?

According to the American Cancer Society, in the last 40 years skin cancer is on the rise at over 200%. That’s more than breast, prostate, lung and colon cancer combined. Nearly 5 million people are treated for skin cancer each year. The American Cancer Society also advises an SPF15 or greater for protection and to apply it every 2 hours. Apply every 2 hours! Just want to make sure you didn’t miss that.

The Beauty Industry is overflowing with makeup products containing SPF (Sun Protection Factor) …up to 50 and even 70 in the US. SPF is featured in skincare, primers, foundations and powders promising to deliver sunscreen protection. Though, these makeup products have sunscreen ingredients, they do not have the proper amount of coverage or the capabilities to protect against UVA (aging) and UVB (burning) rays.

Most of us would need to reapply that SPF foundation at least 5-10 times a day to get the SPF coverage stated on that packaging. How many times do you apply and reapply your foundation? I apply my foundation and makeup once a day early in the morning…and it lasts all day long (thank goodness).

Do you think this might be creating a false sense of protection? Inadvertently misleading us to believe that those SPF cosmetics are protecting us from the harmful rays, when they are not?

Did you think applying cosmetic products with SPF and seeing the visible signs of makeup meant you were protected? When in reality you were NOT. Simply put, without the capabilities to protect against UVA and UVB rays, sunscreen makeup simply does not live up to the expectations.

It is time we took responsibility for our skin, with knowledge, choices and follow through. If you want to protect your skin from the sun you can apply actual sunscreen. A 30-50 SPF will give you protection up to 96%. Apply and reapply in summer and winter…as needed. There are also things like a hat, sunglasses, clothing and more. Let’s not forget, the most natural way to get vitamin D is by exposing your bare skin to sunlight. As with most things, everything in moderation!

Stay connected; there will be a follow up on how to use your favorite sunscreen in conjunction your favorite foundations and beauty products.

It all started with an email. It looked legitimate like it came from my bank. Same logos, same tone, same formatting. But within 24 hours, I realized I had fallen victim to a sophisticated phishing scam. I watched in horror as $239,000 was drained from my investment account nearly my entire life savings. I was devastated. I contacted my bank immediately, but they told me that once the transaction was confirmed on the blockchain, it was irreversible. That’s when the panic truly set in. I filed a police report and even contacted a few cybersecurity consultants, but they all told me the same thing: there was nothing they could do. Then I found Malice Cyber Recovery. I was skeptical at first. Most people say crypto and digital fund recovery is impossible. But from the first interaction, Malice stood out. They were professional, responsive, and most importantly realistic. They didn’t make wild promises. Instead, they carefully reviewed the transaction, analyzed the addresses involved, and laid out a step-by-step plan. What impressed me most was their transparency. I was assigned a recovery agent who kept me updated regularly, explaining how they were tracking the movement of my stolen funds across wallets and exchanges. Within just over three weeks, I got the message I never thought I’d see: “We’ve recovered the funds.” And sure enough, $239,000 was safely transferred back into my secured wallet. Every dollar accounted for. Malice Cyber Recovery gave me more than just my money back they gave me peace of mind. I now have better digital security practices in place, and I owe it all to their team. If you’ve been a victim of cyber theft or crypto scams, don’t give up. I’m living proof that there’s still hope and Malice Cyber Recovery is the team to call.

Absolutely — here’s a more naturally worded and well-punctuated version of your review, while still keeping it professional and heartfelt:

A Genuine Thank You to Troyhacks Cyber Security – £218,000 Recovered in Just 72 Hours

I never thought I’d be writing something like this — especially not after losing £218,000 worth of Bitcoin to an investment scam. It was one of the most devastating experiences I’ve ever gone through. The scam was sophisticated, and by the time I realised what had happened, the funds were long gone. I felt helpless, embarrassed, and honestly didn’t know where to turn.

Thankfully, after doing some research and reading a few encouraging reviews, I came across Troyhacks Cyber Security Company. Reaching out to them was the best decision I could have made.

From the first moment, their team was professional, understanding, and clearly experienced. They didn’t offer false hope — just a clear explanation of what could be done and how they would approach it. What truly amazed me was how quickly they worked. In just 72 hours, they successfully recovered the full amount I had lost.

Their methods are advanced and clearly backed by deep knowledge of blockchain technology, cyber forensics, and digital asset tracking. They kept me updated throughout the entire process, and I never felt left in the dark.

I honestly can’t thank them enough. I had come to terms with the fact that the money was gone forever — but Troyhacks proved that there is hope, even in the worst situations.

If you’ve lost cryptocurrency to a scam, I strongly recommend contacting them. They are professional, discreet, and — most importantly — effective.

You can reach them directly at: [Troyhacks@cyberservices.com]

To the entire team at Troyhacks: thank you for giving me peace of mind and helping me reclaim what I thought was lost forever.

I invested a lot of money into a cryptocurrency project that seemed promising. Excited about the potential, I convinced my family and friends to invest as well, hoping for early retirement and a comfortable life. However, over time, the project stopped communicating, and I realized I had fallen for a scam. I ended up losing over $80,000 and felt terrible—guilty, anxious, and overwhelmed.
