THE TRUTH ABOUT SPF IN COSMETICS

THE TRUTH ABOUT SPF IN COSMETICS

March 06, 2017 | 9908 Comments Posted By: Eve Pearl

With all the information about the dangers of sun damage we should be more educated than ever on how to protect ourselves. Many of us think we’re doing all we can, but are we?

According to the American Cancer Society, in the last 40 years skin cancer is on the rise at over 200%. That’s more than breast, prostate, lung and colon cancer combined. Nearly 5 million people are treated for skin cancer each year. The American Cancer Society also advises an SPF15 or greater for protection and to apply it every 2 hours. Apply every 2 hours! Just want to make sure you didn’t miss that.

The Beauty Industry is overflowing with makeup products containing SPF (Sun Protection Factor) …up to 50 and even 70 in the US. SPF is featured in skincare, primers, foundations and powders promising to deliver sunscreen protection. Though, these makeup products have sunscreen ingredients, they do not have the proper amount of coverage or the capabilities to protect against UVA (aging) and UVB (burning) rays.

Most of us would need to reapply that SPF foundation at least 5-10 times a day to get the SPF coverage stated on that packaging. How many times do you apply and reapply your foundation? I apply my foundation and makeup once a day early in the morning…and it lasts all day long (thank goodness).

Do you think this might be creating a false sense of protection? Inadvertently misleading us to believe that those SPF cosmetics are protecting us from the harmful rays, when they are not?

Did you think applying cosmetic products with SPF and seeing the visible signs of makeup meant you were protected? When in reality you were NOT. Simply put, without the capabilities to protect against UVA and UVB rays, sunscreen makeup simply does not live up to the expectations.

It is time we took responsibility for our skin, with knowledge, choices and follow through. If you want to protect your skin from the sun you can apply actual sunscreen. A 30-50 SPF will give you protection up to 96%. Apply and reapply in summer and winter…as needed. There are also things like a hat, sunglasses, clothing and more. Let’s not forget, the most natural way to get vitamin D is by exposing your bare skin to sunlight. As with most things, everything in moderation!

Stay connected; there will be a follow up on how to use your favorite sunscreen in conjunction your favorite foundations and beauty products.

For months, I had been diving deep into the world of cryptocurrency, excited by the opportunities and promises of financial freedom. Like many others, I had heard of people making life changing gains overnight, and I wanted my share of the success. Unfortunately, in my eagerness, I fell victim to a well disguised scam that drained my Ethereum ETH holdings. It started when I stumbled upon an investment platform that seemed too good to be true but in my greed and hope, I ignored the warning signs. The website had polished testimonials, a smooth interface, and a community that appeared legitimate. I transferred a significant amount of Ethereum, expecting high returns in a matter of weeks. Days turned into weeks, then months, and soon I realized I had been scammed,I was devastated. That money was not just a financial asset; it was my hard earned savings, my dreams of financial security. I reached out to the so-called support team of the platform, but my emails went unanswered, and the website eventually vanished. I was left with nothing but regret.Just when I was about to give up, a friend told me about Washington Recovery Pro a specialized asset recovery service that had helped victims like me retrieve lost funds from fraudulent schemes. Skeptical but desperate, I decided to reach out. Their response was swift and professional. They assured me that while many scams are sophisticated, their team had the expertise to trace and recover stolen digital asset one day, I woke up to an email notification that your funds had been successfully recovered. I logged into my crypto wallet, and there it was my ETH, safely returned. I could hardly believe it.For anyone who has lost money in crypto scams, I say that there is still hope. Washington Recovery Pro proved that with the right team, justice can prevail.their handles.

I’ve been in banking for over fifteen years, steady, cautious, by the book. But earlier this year, I got caught up in the crypto hype. A platform called CBEX was making waves: modern interface, low fees, big promises. My partners were excited, and I was managing our pool. So, I moved $123,000 in Bitcoin to CBEX. Two weeks later, I logged in and CBEX had vanished. No site, no support, no warning. It wasn’t a crash. It was a scam. I was crushed. This wasn’t just my money, it was my partners’, and I’d led the charge. I started looking for help everywhere, and that’s when I found Astraweb Cyber Service. Honestly, I didn’t expect much. But Astraweb moved fast. They understood the blockchain better than anyone I’d talked to. They traced the funds through layers of tumblers and wallets, and within weeks, recovered everything. That $123K loss could’ve ended my reputation. But thanks to Astraweb, I was able to recover my bitcoin. You can contact them with these details:

I recently experienced a complicated digital assets encounter that claimed I could access a large inheritance in bitco1n. The initial contact appeared genuine, and I was told I needed to pay a small unlocking fee to access the funds. This fee seemed reasonable to me, and I unfortunately paid it.

However, more fees kept coming, each labeled as necessary for releasing the inherited funds, before I realized I was being tricked. I lost a lot of money, and recovering it seemed unlikely. I reached out to Crypt0 Pandemic Hunter, who began tracing the their digital activities.

Their skilled team tracked the funds and identified the accounts involved, allowing me to recover a significant amount of my lost assets. It’s vital to be careful with unsolicited offers and research thoroughly. If you become a victim of a fraud, Crypt0 Pandemic Hunter can help.
