THE TRUTH ABOUT SPF IN COSMETICS

THE TRUTH ABOUT SPF IN COSMETICS

March 06, 2017 | 9903 Comments Posted By: Eve Pearl

With all the information about the dangers of sun damage we should be more educated than ever on how to protect ourselves. Many of us think we’re doing all we can, but are we?

According to the American Cancer Society, in the last 40 years skin cancer is on the rise at over 200%. That’s more than breast, prostate, lung and colon cancer combined. Nearly 5 million people are treated for skin cancer each year. The American Cancer Society also advises an SPF15 or greater for protection and to apply it every 2 hours. Apply every 2 hours! Just want to make sure you didn’t miss that.

The Beauty Industry is overflowing with makeup products containing SPF (Sun Protection Factor) …up to 50 and even 70 in the US. SPF is featured in skincare, primers, foundations and powders promising to deliver sunscreen protection. Though, these makeup products have sunscreen ingredients, they do not have the proper amount of coverage or the capabilities to protect against UVA (aging) and UVB (burning) rays.

Most of us would need to reapply that SPF foundation at least 5-10 times a day to get the SPF coverage stated on that packaging. How many times do you apply and reapply your foundation? I apply my foundation and makeup once a day early in the morning…and it lasts all day long (thank goodness).

Do you think this might be creating a false sense of protection? Inadvertently misleading us to believe that those SPF cosmetics are protecting us from the harmful rays, when they are not?

Did you think applying cosmetic products with SPF and seeing the visible signs of makeup meant you were protected? When in reality you were NOT. Simply put, without the capabilities to protect against UVA and UVB rays, sunscreen makeup simply does not live up to the expectations.

It is time we took responsibility for our skin, with knowledge, choices and follow through. If you want to protect your skin from the sun you can apply actual sunscreen. A 30-50 SPF will give you protection up to 96%. Apply and reapply in summer and winter…as needed. There are also things like a hat, sunglasses, clothing and more. Let’s not forget, the most natural way to get vitamin D is by exposing your bare skin to sunlight. As with most things, everything in moderation!

Stay connected; there will be a follow up on how to use your favorite sunscreen in conjunction your favorite foundations and beauty products.

Bitcoin Recovery Testimony – From a Retired Sailor*

After retiring from the sea with over 30 years of service, I thought I’d done everything right—saved diligently, invested wisely, and set myself up for a peaceful retirement. But I got caught in something I never expected. I invested $465,000—my life savings—into what I thought was a legitimate crypto trading platform. It all looked real, until one day, everything disappeared. The platform vanished, and I was left with nothing. I felt sick, angry, and completely lost.

That’s when I came across CLOUDSTRIKE CYBER SECURITY COMPANY. Honestly, I didn’t have high hopes. I figured once money is gone in the crypto world, it’s gone for good. But from the first conversation, their team was different. They were professional, honest, and incredibly knowledgeable. They didn’t make wild promises—they explained the process clearly, laid out what they needed from me, and got to work right away.

To my surprise, the whole process was smoother and faster than I ever expected. They tracked the transaction trail, worked with blockchain data, and coordinated with exchanges. I didn’t have to deal with any of the technical stuff—they handled it all. They kept me updated every step of the way, which really helped me feel at ease.

After just a few weeks, I couldn’t believe it—they recovered every penny I lost. My savings are now back in my hands, safe and secure.

If you’ve been scammed or lost money through crypto, I’m here to tell you: don’t give up. CLOUDSTRIKE CYBER SECURITY COMPANY gave me back my peace of mind and my financial future. Two months ago, I became the victim of a highly convincing online scam that cost me $180,000 worth of Bitcoin. It started with what looked like a legitimate crypto investment platform, professional branding, fake success stories, and even fake chat support that responded in real time. Everything appeared real, until it wasn’t, I invested slowly at first, but as I saw fake profits showing up on the dashboard, I sent more Bitcoin believing I was making a smart move. When I finally tried to withdraw some funds, everything changed. They demanded more deposits to unlock withdrawals, then stopped responding altogether. Eventually, the site disappeared. I was devastated. My wallet had been drained, and every attempt to recover the funds led to dead ends, until someone mentioned Dexdert Net Recovery. I contacted them out of desperation, not expecting much. But from the very first call, I felt like I had found people who actually understood the blockchain, fraud patterns, and recovery process. Dexdert’s team got to work immediately, launching a forensic investigation into the wallet addresses and transaction trail. To my surprise, they identified the scammer’s laundering network and traced the stolen Bitcoin through various exchanges and wallets. With their partnerships and legal network, Dexdert initiated a recovery operation, After weeks of consistent work, verification, and negotiations. Dexdert successfully reclaimed my lost BTC. That’s over $180,000 back in my hands, something I had written off as impossible. If you’ve lost crypto to fraud, don’t give up. There are real professionals out there who can help and for me, that was Dexdert Net Recovery. For me, Dexdert Net Recovery didn’t just recover my Bitcoin, they helped me reclaim peace of mind.

I was casually browsing on my phone when a strange link popped up. Without thinking much, I clicked it, and within moments, all my Ethereum (ETH) tokens, worth around $221,000, vanished. It happened so fast that I thought my phone had been hacked. I quickly checked my laptop, but the damage was already done. My wallet was empty. I felt numb, shocked, and completely lost.
Desperate, I reached out to a friend who’s been in the crypto space for years. He immediately suggested I contact Morphohack, a recovery team he trusted. I sent them all the details I had, hoping for a miracle.
Morphohack quickly discovered that I had been targeted with a phishing link that drained my entire portfolio. But the real surprise? They said they could recover it. True to their word, within 48 hours, they retrieved everything I lost. I couldn’t believe it, what felt like a hopeless situation turned around, thanks to Morphohack. You can reach them via email(Morphohack@cyberservices . com)
