Wedding Services:

I would recommend a trial as far in advance as possible. Try to book your trial on a day you can go out, to see how the makeup lasts and how you like it... what your friends or family say... maybe even get the opinion of your fiance.

Wedding Tips:

• Eliminate some beauty treatments such as eyebrow waxing or facials a full week or two before your wedding in order to avoid any mishaps like skin irritations.

• Be sure to begin your wedding day makeup application with a clean face.

• Waterproof mascara and eyeliners are a big plus on your big day. The last thing you want to worry about is you makeup running down your face.

• If you are getting married in the summer or having a tropical destination wedding please be sure to wear sun block! Be aware of your tan lines. Try to avoid getting sunburned, nothing fun about having sun poisoning and sun damage on your wedding day.

• If your going to apply self tanners, make sure you do it within the amount of days the tan will last. Be careful not to get streaking and wash the areas between your fingers.

• Your lips will be working over time so make sure you apply your lip liner all over and then top off with a gloss, this will make your lipstick last longer.

• Try to get your manicure/pedicure a day before your wedding. One less thing to think about the big day.

• Easier said than done, but here goes... try not to get over stressed and anxious right before the wedding day... I know, I know... who can prevent that. I say this because, stress triggers hormones and has a tendency to cause those nasty breakouts... which leads to more stress. So, if you can avoid it and feel a pimple about to appear, try using gentle acne treatments on the area. If it has gotten out of control, try to get to a dermatologist a couple of days before the wedding to get a cortisone injection.

• If you have a red blemish mark the wedding day, freeze a couple of Visine type of eye drops onto a tea spoon... to get rid of the red. When the liquid turns into ice, place it on your reddish blemish. The cold will help shrink the swelling and the formula will take away the redness, like from your eyes.

• Exfoliate your lips a couple of days before your wedding day by using a tooth brush and some Vaseline. Gently rub onto your lips with back and forth motion. This will also increase circulation and plump up your lips.

• Be aware of getting rough massages... and anything else that might be too rough and leave marks on your body. I speak from experience of having a fantastic massage the day before my wedding and waking up with several black and blue marks on my back. Luckily, as a makeup artist I was able to cover them up.

• With proper coverage, it is totally possible to cover up tattoos or bruises which are not quite appropriate for your wedding day... just ask.
