"Smoke Out" Your Eyes
To "smoke out" means to use a dark shadow and create a soft effect. It will hold the liner and keep it from smudging, creasing, or coming off. It will also give you the ability to extend, elongate, and enlarge the shape of the eye with a soft shadow. For example, when and eye shadow is applied over a harsh liquid liner, you can still achieve a softer effect by bringing out the eye.

Additional Tips to Remember
Pump brushes, both empty and filled, are now readily available. They are great for travel. Just pump and brush it on. Fill them with loose or shimmery powders.
Once thought of as cakey and heavy, powder is now used to set and maintain the foundation. It can be applied quite sheer and look very translucent. Applied with a powder puff, powder secures the foundation; applied with a brush, powder gives a slight sheer finish. It will keep your foundation in place and help it last longer and not get on your clothes or his.
