Plastic Surgery Without the Surgery

This book is an excellent addition to your library! Unlike most makeup books that either try to push their product lines or just have pages of faces with unwearable looks and stress a million different tools and products for you to buy to achieve their picture perfect models photoshopped look, this book proved a refreshing change. It’s got great beauty tips for home reminds, everyday beautiful makeup application, wearable looks as well as how to make makeup work for you and hide your flaws. There was no mention of her products, probably due to the fact this book was published in 2004 and she launched her makeup line in 2008 but still it’s a nice change from the pushing product books. Still I would love to see her make a book with many looks using nothing but her own products! Her products are amazing but her technique is really the trick. She shows you many ideas and makeovers for everyday women. It’s one of those books you will read and then read again for enjoyment and for a reference to go back to as well. Good job Eve!
